Here is a keratin that you can use and then wash it out after 24 hours of applying it.
As everybody out there are manufacturing keratins it is hard to choose one that will work for you, and specially that will not damage your hair.
Many keratins have too much Formaldehyde (this is what preserves the keratin but it also works as a straightener).
So what I'm trying to tell you is that if the keratin has too much Formaldehyde it will make your hair more straight but it will also make your ends dry and it might make your hair dryer.
The FDA approves only until 2% of formaldehyde in each bottle so you are safe with this one...it contains less than the 2%.
You also have to check on the thickness of the product, if it's too watery it will drip onto your face or your clients face and burn the skin. This is also a problem when you are applying it because you might think you have used too little because you can't tell if you have saturated the product into the hair. And the results are not going to be great....
The OK Original Keratin is thick so you can tell exactly how much you are applying.
Of course it the hair will not look so neat at the end of the application because of the thickness of the product but when you wash it out the next day you will see how shinny , soft and manageable your hair will be.
The best part of Brazilian Keratin is that it will remove the FRIZZ out of your hair!!!
You can color or highlight it after the treatment...
After you have apply the treatment you will have to wash your hair with a shampoo that is Sodium Free....this is to maintain it longer.
It will only last for 3 to 4 months only... if they say it lasts longer in not true.
